Description Ginger is a flowering plant widely used as a culinary spice or as a healing herb in folk medicine. It is a herbaceous perennial which grows annual stems about a meter tall bearing narrow green leaves and yellow flowers. A shrub with a soild root and branches spreads on the ground connected with each other.
Habitat It is cultivated in the tropical rainforest in Southern Asia.
